Felix Ridder, student in Landscape Architecture at NIRS during March

My name is Felix, and I am a Master’s student in Landscape Architecture from Berlin. I will be staying in Narsaq for one month. During this time, I am studying how ice and seasonal changes affect everyday life, especially how they influence movement, access, and the use of public spaces. I am interested in understanding how spaces change throughout the year, how paths, Fjords, or open areas are used differently in winter and during the transition periods when the ice changes. I am interested in thinking about public spaces together with local people, how they are used today and how they could work in the future, especially in relation to changing ice and weather conditions
